Performance, autonomy of the HP Envy x360 15-ey0013nf
The HP Envy x360 15-ey0013nf is a 2-in-1 hybrid notebook PC that converts to a tablet for everyday mobile-oriented use.
Many users will appreciate the overall performance delivered by the core of this thin and light aluminum mobile computer as it relies on 16GB of RAM coupled with a low-power AMD Octo Core APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) Ryzen 7 5700U Barcelo processor.
The latter houses the Radeon Vega 8, a graphics solution with which you can watch photos and videos but also play light games.
However, there is no dedicated graphics card on board, so gamers will not be interested.
On the other hand, creative people who want to carry out modest multimedia work using RAM and multi-core can be satisfied with the performance provided by the core, for example for photo editing or video conversion.
On the storage side, HP has made the logical choice of an SSD, which clearly enhances the reactivity and fluidity of daily use compared to a hard disk. Thanks to the SSD, starts/stops are much faster as well as processing and launching of applications, while we reach faster the maps of online games.
An SSD is indeed much faster than a hard disk. It also offers other advantages such as greater robustness, lower power consumption and silent operation.
In terms of capacity, a 512GB SSD is offered, which corresponds to the standard of hard drives.
Of course, if you need more space, you can use an external storage unit such as a USB-C/USB 3.0 device for fast transfers.
As for the autonomy of this versatile 2-in-1 touchscreen laptop convertible into a tablet, which is as easy to carry as an Ultrabook thanks to its controlled weight and slimness, bet on about 7 hours of battery operation in light use.

The HP Envy x360 15-ey0013nf versus the competition
The HP Envy x360 15-ey0013nf is currently on sale by HP France and offers an interesting configuration/price ratio for its category where it is one of the cheapest to offer such a powerful processor with such a high amount of RAM.
If your budget allows it, you could be seduced by its big brother HP Envy x360 15-ey0001nf sold a little more expensive, with OLED screen and 1Tb SSD.
HP Envy x360 15-ey0013nf chassis, connectivity, screen
With its midnight black anodized and sandblasted aluminum design that can be opened 360° to convert into a tablet, this 2-in-1 laptop has a sober, elegant and original appearance.
Its screen is adorned with multi-touch technology, which allows you to interact with the system and software by simply pressing and touching it with at least one finger.
The treatment is brilliant here because of the touch aspect, which gives punch to the colors but implies a sensitivity to the reflections in luminous environment (ex: outside).
The screen lends itself very well to the display of videos and more broadly to High Definition content because it adopts a 16/9 format associated with a Full HD definition. In addition, its horizontal and vertical viewing angles are important thanks to its IPS technology, but not high-end since the colorimetry is classic.

Above the screen is a webcam with infrared technology allowing biometric authentication by facial recognition via Windows Hello.
We appreciate that a shutter is present to preserve privacy when not using the webcam.
A backlighting system equips the chiclet keyboard of course, which is practical to better distinguish its keys in case of reduced ambient light.
However, there is no numeric keypad to make it easier to enter numbers, although this feature is standard on 15-inch laptops, which some people will regret.
This versatile hybrid laptop that can be recharged by 50% in 45 minutes has good connectivity including 2 USB-C, Wi-Fi ax (more recent and efficient than Wi-Fi ac) and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connections and remote communications, a useful HDMI video output to easily connect it to a monitor or a TV for example, an audio port without forgetting 2 USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 compatible) guaranteeing transfers made up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if USB 3.0 peripherals are plugged on.
