Performance, autonomy of the HP 17-cp0001sf
The HP 17-cp0001sf is a large-format notebook that performs well in general-purpose use and is multimedia-oriented.
It benefits from a silent SSD storage while being more energy efficient than a hard disk, more robust and much faster.
In addition, the SSD offers a large capacity of 1 TB, enough to accommodate multiple files and software.
In any case the SSD brings a much better fluidity and reactivity to the use than a hard disk.
Thanks to the SSD, startup and shutdown are much faster, as well as processing and launching software, and you can get to the online game maps faster.
While no dedicated graphics card is on board, we can nevertheless watch photos and videos but also play light games thanks to the Radeon Vega 8 graphics part directly inserted in the processor.
This one is an AMD APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) low consumption Lucienne Ryzen 7 5700U Octo Core. It is coupled with 16 GB of RAM to provide good overall performance to suit many users.
And especially those who want to perform modest multimedia work that exploits the multicore and RAM, such as video conversion or photo editing.
As for battery life, you can expect about 5 hours of battery operation with light use for this computer, whose slimness and controlled weight make it easy to carry around for a 17-inch. This large format is not by nature the most easily transportable. But it is comfortable for a mostly sedentary use (e.g. at home).

It’s a pity, however, that we don’t find Wi-Fi 6 ax and Bluetooth 5 more recent and efficient.
The backlighting of the chiclet keyboard is possible but to be confirmed.
This feature is useful to better distinguish the keys in case of limited ambient light.
In any case, the screen lends itself well to the display of High Definition content such as videos with its Full HD definition and its 16/9 format. The screen also benefits from large vertical and horizontal viewing angles thanks to its IPS technology, although not high-end since the colorimetry is classic. In any case, thanks to its anti-reflection treatment, the screen is more readable than a glossy slab in a bright environment (eg: outdoor) while being less tiring for the eyes over a long period.
